Which budget spotter for watching mirage?

I am looking for a budget spotter to primarily watch mirage while shooting f class and prone. I am not worried about seeing bullet holes but do need to be able to see shot and scoring markers. My other requirements are that the mount must be on a rotating band so I can get it in a good position while shooting prone and is angled. LER would also be nice but I know I’m pushing it with that request. I have been borrowing a kowa tsn 601 but it doesn’t rotate. I’m currently looking at the konus 80 and Bresser Condor 85. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

What is your budget? I use a vortex razor spotting scope and it works well for what you are looking to do.

I also use a kowa 601 and realy like it. Not sure how you are mountung it but a ball mount may get the angle you want.

Sorry, a budget of say $600. I have a Creedmoor polecat stand. A ball and socket style head is an option but I do like the polecat and how easy it is to adjust in position. If the tsn-601 had a rotating band that would definitely be what I would go with

Celestron also makes an 80mm spotter with angled eye-piece. They used to also make a Long Eye Relief eye- piece that is no longer in production but used ones show up here and there. Not as good as Kowa but absolutely usable for your needs.

Check out the sightron 23010 I use one here at the shop on my range. Good spotter for the money.

With the LER lens, I am able to view the target some distance from the eyepiece. Not sure how far away I am, but, in position, I just look over at it. My eye has to be a at least an inch to a couple inches away.
I'll check the next time I'm at the range.

Don’t worry about that. I didn’t see that they offered a LER eye piece. Pretty much sold on it, thanks for the help.
