Which bench shooting pad/mat do you recommend?

For those cement and wooden shooting benches at the range, to preserve the points on feet in the front rest tripod, which shooting mat/pad do you recommend?

You need a set of super feet for your rest. If you want a pad,I use one, go to Tractor Supply and buy a piece of the thinner stall rubber padding and trim to the shape you want. It will protect you and your equipment from a cement top. Plus, all my 6s are .262 necks. Keeps from damaging them. I shot of it at te last Wotld Open and they ok'd it as legal. It is not stiff enough to act as a 1 piece rest. If you want to move it after you set up on it you must grab both ends at once to slide or it bunches up in the middle.

A triangle of 1/8-3/16 neoprene sheet works great. However, Benchrite Stabilfeet are really convenient. I used contact adhesive to glue three to a triangle of 3/16 dense neoprene sheet to transport my rest and not have the spikes dig in to my Weather-Tech liner. I've actually used that piece to stabilize my rest when shooting off a peagravel firing line one match when I forgot my F-class feet. It worked great.

Thank you! Just ordered a set of 3 Stabilfeet. On the Benchrite website when I ordered them, the quantity stated was 1. However, I called them and they confirmed that the "1" is one set of three.

Go to home depot or lowes and get the cheapest outdoor mat they have.
Last time I bought one it was under $3.00
also the stable feet help.
You don't need to spend a lot for the stuff that works

I've been using some of those outdoor mats from Rural King, only a $1/each. Look like commercial carpet with a decent rubber backing. Screw the points right into the mat, no problems.

Conveyor belting
This is usually available at Tractor Supply by the foot; it usually in the back with the tractor parts and electric fencing supplies. Sorry @1bamashooter, just that most non-farmers wouldn't have the slightest idea of what you were referring to.
Another excellent use for conveyor belting is if you want to shoot paper targets but have only a steel gong to hang it from. A target backer of conveyor belt will keep the bullet splatter from shredding the paper target.

I was curious if anyone uses a heavy piece of saddle skirting leather on the bench with stabil- feet on the front rest? I was thinking this would be nice but just haven’t done it yet.
