Which Bat Action for 6.5-284?

i guess it depends on what diciplen you intend to shoot and if you may end up going to a bigger or smaller cal in the future?
in the BAT range of actions that would probably be best suitable for the 6.5x284 you would include the B, MB and the M.
the B action is about 7.5" in length and has a 3" port and would be good if youd like to save some weight.
the MB is a cross between the B and the M action in that it only has a 3" port but is 8.5" long to give a larger bedding area and more rigidity to hang long barrels off of.
the M action is kind of the big daddy of the three it has a 3.5" port so you can easly get the 6.5 x.284 in and out even if they are loaded rounds. it has the large 8.5" bedding area of the MB but has a larger diameter tennon for heavy barrels and if you decide to go to a belted magnum with the change of the bolt there is a bit more reinforceing around the chamber area.
i have a BAT M round 1.55" action and think that is is about perfect for the 6.5x284. ;D in the round configueration there is PLENTY of of steel around the bolt so i wouldnt hesitate to go with a dual port or a multi flat option eigther. . .
doesnt matter what bat action you get i think you will be very impressed.
