I'm planning on building a Bdl varmint special replica in 6br. But was wondering what barrel type would be best for Bluing a Chromoly or Stainless barrel or does it even matter? ???

They can, and do, blue stainless steel 8)
I'll have to keep them in mind for another build later 8), but according to their website they don't do a polished blue which is what i'm going for.

My first gun build I had a old Mauser 98 with a corroded unsafe barrel. I bought a cheap adams and Bennet Barrel at midway in 35 wheelen. I want a moose gun. Anyway she turned out great. It was a Cromoly of course and I blued it with a 7.00$ on clearance outters gun blue kit. You might not beleive it but I did allot of extra prep down to 1500 grit sand paper. The Blue job came out unbeleivable! I didnt expect it to be awsome but it is. There are some good products out there for home blueing if you go the extra mile. Just a thought Try some on a piece of scrap steel. You will be surprised. I havent tried stainless though.
