Which adjustable butt plate for F TR ?

Looking for options for adjustable butt plate on a F TR rifle. Current weight is 17lbs 10oz. with bi-pod. It has a kick ease pad on it now with adjustable check piece. What are the lightweight options ? Stock is a PR&T Low boy.

Why not get one of Rays if its his stock?

I would go with PR&T so it will match your stock. The F/TR hardware is listed at 10 ounces (with buttpad). I don't know how much your current butt pad weighs? You may have to shave a few additional ounces.

I talked with Ray...I would have to flute barrel and cut end of stock to make weight. Not sure I want to do that right now. Anyone ever make their own? I really just want the up ability.

Master Class Stocks (Alex Sitman) makes a vertical-only adjustable that is less material than any other I have seen. Beyond that perhaps Anschutz/Walther/Feinwerkbau etc. might have something lighter. Try the Champions Choice web site, they carry a ton of accessories.
