Which 308 brass should I buy

I'm look to stock up on new unfired 308 brass that I'll load primarily for my Bergara B14 but some of it will be shot in other 308 bolt guns that I own. Ill shoot from 100-600 yards at the range and hunt out to 200 yd. I load mostly 175 gr BTHP Gamekings and some 168 gr SMK. The two brands that I've settled on are Winchester and Stareline. From my research these two seem to be the best for their price range.

Between these two, I'd go with the Starline brass. They're more consistent.

But, Winchester has more case volume, so if more velocity is important to you than the consistency, then Winchester would be the choice.

Winchester !

I have Lapua 308win 223rem, 243win & 7mm08 brass and Winchester brass for the same cartridges. The Winchester doesn't give up much if any accuracy compared to the Lapua brass, yet the Winchester brass lasts FOOOORRRREEEEVVVVVEEEEERRRR.

I've always loaded LR brass. Is there any benefit to SRP brass other than the availability of small primers?
Starline 308 SRP Brass. Its cheap (avg 0.60c each), lost a long time, and is made in Sedalia, MO. You can often order it directly from Starline for less than a lot of resellers. They are a fantastic company.

Will last longer with high pressure loads like in FTR. LRP will have loose pockets after few reloads. SRP will last a lot longer.

I prefer the large rifle primer myself, but in todays supply srp are on the shelf way more than lrp. If you have a good stock of lrp you will be set. If not get the srp brass and stock up on primers.

Load the Winchester with your hunting bullets and load the Starline with the match bullets and use them where they need to be used. if you lose some of the Winchester brass in the heat of the hunt you haven't lost much.

Good advice. Going this route will save you some headaches down the road. You want to keep the brass for each rifle separate and using different headstamps is about the only way to do it consistently.

The differences in case volume will require that you develop loads for each rifle separately.

One point I was trying to make is some match bullets preform well on game some do not. Hunting bullets in most cases need to be different than match bullets. I've heard all the talk on Bergers on game and I am not totally convinced. I am kinda old school and like a partition if there is any doubt, though I am warming up to some of the Barnes hunting bullets.
