Where to shoot Fclass this weekend!

Bayou Rifle club in Houston TX. This Sunday 09-02-2018......3 X 20 @ 1000 yards

Nice thing about this match is, nobody has a poultry farm yet (except Randy, and those are real chickens). We have some shooters who have a lot of trophies but I don't know if anyone has won State Champion or overall match winner more than twice. I wish we would have kept track of just how many national records have been set at this match over the last decade too. It's been dozens and dozens.

This is just a reminder that our monthly MRP is scheduled for this weekend is on Sunday 9/9. Registration starts at 7:45 in the main Club House. Registration ends promptly at 8:15.

Dates: Sunday - September 9, 2018,-Sunday - October 14, 2018
Eligibility: NRA membership is not required
MSSA membership not required to shoot in organized matches
Rules: Current NRA High Power Rifle rules will govern.

  1. F-Open (NRA)
  2. F/TR (NRA)
  3. (NEW) FPR(Field Precision Rifle)(Suppressors, Breaks, Mag-load, Folding Bipod)
  4. (NEW) F-Bench
  5. Tactical Rifle (NRA)
  6. Match rifle (NRA)
  7. Service Rifle (NRA)

Awards: Plaque for overall Winner, (Others to be discussed)
Match Fee: - $20.00
Post Entries: From 7:45 AM - 8:15 AM on day of the match. Meet at main Club house
Firing Starts: Approximately 8:30 AM.
Course of Fire:
Match 1: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 record shots @ 600 yards in a time limit of 25 minutes.
Match 2: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 record shots @ 600 yards in a time limit of 25 minutes.
Match 3: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 record shots @ 600 yards in a time limit of 25 minutes.

Scoring/Pit Duty:
At present time, we have access to 1 or 2 E-Targets. Every effort will be made to shoot on the E-targets. Pit duty may be required at the discretion of match director (depending on number of shooters). Scoring will be required.


NOTES:
3 Relay Minimum ------2 shooters minimum per category
2 sighting shots for sling shooters on matches 2 & 3
For Questions please contact one of the match directors

This Program will be used through the end of this year (2018)
A new program and schedule will be announced sometime in January 2019

Day2 of the TN State LR championship at Oak Ridge, TN. Be there by 9am today to register and shoot a 2x1000.

edit: congratulations to Randy Graham for pulling out a squeaker over Clint Roberts.

See ya there! Leaving Friday am. Plan on having my supper at El Tejavan in Armadillo....I mean Amarillo. Hopefully they have chocolate flan on the menu that night. YUM!
