Where to get Anschutz Rail blanks

FOR several years I have purchased blank Anschutz rails from Champion Shooters in Ohio. I recently placed a Web Order for a few but never received them. Champion Shooters website is down and their phone is disconnected.

So does anyone have a source for T-slot/Anschutz rails?

I know Champions Choice has some but they are twice as much!

These guys have one, but I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for.

They are not too hard to make, if you have a mill. Plenty of drawings on the 'net. I have just made one the cheap - I just needed to mount a Magic Bi-pod on the front of a rebuilt stock for a project, so made a bit of 1/8 aluminium about 3in. long, stock width and cut a 10mm (.4in) slot and spaced it with 2 pieces of 1/8 ali, keeping the slot clear - 13mm clearance needed, about 1/2 inch. Drilled and wood screwed flush to the timber. Works fine and when polished looks nice on the rifle.

I agree, but most on this forum do not have machine tools.

I have a brand new 12” anschutz rail as well if needed. Bought new from champions a few years back and never installed.

Thanks Butch, I'll keep Neil's info.
Hog, I am going to call McM and see if I can get on a list.
Teele Numrich is out of stock.
Pres I sent you a PM if you want to sell it.

A few years ago I needed piece of blank Anschutz-type rail. I live in New Zealand, and I got some from N Z gunsmith Mike Collings. I cannot remember what I paid for an 18inch length, but it struck me as being a reasonable price.

As I remember, Mike said that he obtains lengths of such rail from somebody in Australia who had an extrusion die specially made for him, and he cuts it to the lengths requested by customers.

It might be worth while for you to contact Mike direct. Even if he is unable to supply you, or if the cost of postage to USA is prohibitive, he may be prepared to give you the contact details of the manufacturer, who may in turn have an outlet in USA.
