He was pretty verberous and descriptive. You could tell he loved the outdoors and was a different breed of writer then many in the magazines today. I haven't read hardly any of his articles or books but you can find them for a price on amazon of coarse.Anyone know of a source of Jack O’Connor articles? I have always heard of the “Dean, of gun writing” but I have never had the opportunity to read any of his stuff.
First book I ever read through and through. The America Rifleman by Jack O'Conner. Wish I still had it. I'm going to do a search. He loved the 270 and felt it the ultimate elk cartridge. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for reminding me. MikeAnyone know of a source of Jack O’Connor articles?
