Where to find f class stocks

Ive been looking everywhere for a prone stock for shooting.
Its for a 284 long action build and looking for a nice wood stock.
Any suggestions on where to find them. Ive goggled stocks and found
The common whole salers was wonding if any smaller companies sre out there

Hal Dougherty, in Tennessee, did a couple of nice laminated ones for me. He has a Dakota duplicator. Here's a link to an example, and there are a lot more stocks of his of different types on the same site.

He harvests his own wood. He is incredibly reasonable. I finished one off for a Remington 700 in .260 and bedded it and it came out great. I'm going to do the other for a .223 Savage this winter.

I'm with Joe. There are 3 significant stockbuilders that live in same general area. They utlize each others blanks and style, they are also friends. If u were to contact one for a said stock, he may work with the one of the others to get what you need. All 3 do top shelf work.

Bernowski, Sitman & Russo. Joel has been on sabbatical for the past yr or more, while being very involved with his young boys lives/sports.
My point is to contact any one of them and one way or another they can get u hooked up. My last two prone stocks were of masterclass design, made by Bernowski, obtained for me by Russo. Regardless you will get a great stock from a great guy.... That has been my experience.

Doan Trevor builds an excellent stock in a timely fashion. That latter detail will be critical if you want your stock ready by summertime.

like posted before prt makes a nice lowboy f-class stock. joel russo in pennsylvania will also make you a stock with just about any type of blank you want. exotic wood/laminate/walnut, whatever. he has no pics of his non-thumhole f-class on his site. you would have to email him for a pic to see if you like it. but he also offers the mcmillan f-class in wood.

Masterclass stocks, Alex Stitman and Carl works with Alex alot, They are building a F/TR stock for me now. As soon as I seen the work Alex and Carl do to a stock I was sold. I called and talked to Alex and placed my order the next day.

Doan did a F-TR stock for me. I handed him the Barreled action on Oct 29th and I picked it up the second week of Dec. Beautiful work on a beautiful piece of Koa wood. His metal work is second to none. I was very impressed, great guy. Only problem I'm having with it is it's so pretty, I hate to take it out of the safe.

I might add, total weight with scope and bi-pod is 15.75 pounds. I'm going to have to ADD weight. Not a problem I've had before.
