You can't buy the robertson any more they are out of buisness.
Best bang for buck is from Precioion Rifle and Tool.
They make a proven product.

Yep been out of business for a while now and the molds got bought and never seen again. I know someone with one of the molds.. have another buddy that had an old one fixed up and its is SWEET!

VERY HARD TO FIND cuz those that do have them wont sell them for the most part. Though you can get luckysometimes..

I am currently working with MRCS on building a Robertson stock. When you call you will be talking to the man who runs the CNC machine and does all the programming. He is a great guy to work with will do anything you want. My only issue is I would like it built on the laminate stock instead of three pieces of exotic wood laminate it together. I believe the laminate that comes from Rutledge is better and does not move as much. The prices are very very reasonable especially if you're paying in American dollars right now. 25% exchange rate over to the Canadian dollar.

Can anybody tell me if laminating three pieces of exotic wood together is better or stronger then laminate's from Rutledge

MCRS tactical also told me they got the CNC file directly from Robert some stocks so it should be pretty close to a true Robertson other than you're getting it in a wood configuration

Talked to Chris today, he is emailing some photos and drawings for me to look at. Really nice guy, Chris, although a little hard to understand at times on the phone.

Kev77 have you done the atf 5330.3a form? I looked at it and have no idea how to even go about that thing! Lol

I have a lowboy stock and I love it. Im weighing my options for a fiberglass one or go with another lowboy.

If I can find something similar to the f-class one, then I might go with that.

Kev77, if Chris would let you, could you get a few pictures of an actual stock coming of the mill? Doesn't matter which stock style really, I just want to see the quality coming off the machines, trying to figure out how much sanding will be required.

Bryan,
Since you have something specific in mind I would suggest a custom stock.

I'm having a F-Class custom stock made for me. I went with Shurley Brothers because several people at my range recommended them http://www.shurleybrothers.com/. I wanted a laminate stock and after talking to them they sent me to http://www.cousineauwoodproducts.com/ select my laminate and I chose the exact type of stock that I prefer. You may want to talk to them, and you won't have to worry about currency conversions and import issues.

I also considered the GRS http://grsriflestocks.com/our-models/model/grs-kelbly-x-eater stocks are pretty nice and well priced IMO. You can order them from Kelbly.

Kindest regards,

Joe

Thud, XRING Rifle Stocks and S&S Precision Rifles are selling them. I just bought one, "Stick's" is building on it, the stock has a bunch of great improvements.

There was a post a while ago about Xring having some copyright issues about their stocks.
