Where is all the Retumbo?

I feel your pain. I am down to two eight powders. My 338 LM loads are basically an ice cream scoop full behind a 300gr Berger. I have been looking for another 8lbs with zero luck.

I love Retumbo! I use it and H1000 a lot in lots of various magnum calibers. H100v though I have never had any luck with. I've tried it in a hand full of .243s, .260s and Creedmoors with very lack luster results on paper. I have heard of lots of people really liking it though and same with Varget. Lots of fans of that stuff but I've never really got it to perform for me the way I like except in one of my 6mmBRs.

I got tired of feeding those big magnums. I have 4lbs. Of Retumbo and no use for it. I run H1000 in my .243 and 6mm Competition Match. I always buy enough at one time to burn the barrels out.

I got 4 or 5 pounds of retumbo stuck away i never used, my lapua didnt like it. Sits on the shelf aka storage in a closet.

Its not the most popular powder so is probably only being made once a year and we have had a run on it

I have 38# left of 56# of same lot. Bought it from a wholesaler going out of business at a very good price, FTF. Had to drive 250 miles round trip to get it , but it was worth it. It's my go-to powder in 5 rifles, so I use a lot.
