Where can I get Mini Boring bars-- Update

I've been up at the Grizz showroom a few times in Bellingham Washington. Neat place to visit for a tool nut!

On a side note, I purchased a Grizzly solid carbide shank boring bar several years ago and it will fit in a .236 hole. I picked it up to bore 6mm muzzle breaks. I quit using brakes, but I use the small bar all the time. Handy to have.
Thanks for that info Ridgeway. expanding my horizons

i actually thought about buying one and trying it out walt- mabie i will- How much can you take in one pass with a rougher ? Thanks
It only takes me 15 minutes to chamber a 300 Win Mag complete using a roughing reamer to 0.100 of final depth and then finish to depth. I do use through barrel coolant. I feed the reamer what it wants. Usually starting 0.2 before withdrawal. 0.1 for the last few passes.

And if the bore had been dialed in that should be pretty concentric shouldnt it ?
Theres always discussion of pre boring to make sure when its said and done the chamber is concentric with the throat. If you go with the banana shaped bore theory it will not. If you’re a reamer follows the bore no matter where it starts then its the same as running the reamer in there except less wear

Ok that all makes sense Thanks
