Red : #5 Superior, 6x50RWS MAG, Lee Six, Becky Sinclair's HG
Wood: #1, first Superior in a Laminate stock by Shilen, 222 Rem
Ross Sherman, maker of the Superior, inductee in BR HOF, holding #31, his last of 30 made. #30 was destroyed per legend.

I picked these 2 up a few months ago with 6ppc barrels, an extra 6ppc barrel, a 22ppc barrel and a 22WD barrel. I dont know anything about them except it seems they have been around thru the auction block a few times.

Howdy ! I was hoping you’d post pics of Fred & Becky’s guns ! Thanx !!

I do recall seeing those guns on the wall in Fred’s converted garage shop.

More memorable, was my having the good fortune of competing in 100yd benchrest matches, over @ the “ Bluecreek “ range: on the IN/OH line; just outside of Willshire,OH.
This assemblage was a lot of Sinclair customers, competing with rifles Fred had made.

Becky once came to a match, after having deliberately mounted her rifle’s scope with the reticle in an “ X “ pattern. She spanked pretty much all other group shooters there, including Fred… that day.

Keep shootin’ small !

I bought this action a while ago. It was made by one of the guys involved with the Houston Tunnel tests. Magnum boltface and what looks like a drop port that fits a 300 Win Mag shell perfectly. I’m thinking of building something with it. Maybe someone will recognize it and chime in.

Picked up this old rest. Thought it would go with my Wichita 6ppc.

I have the same rest. Lately, I have been using the Wichita top, mated to a RW Hart base. I won a lot of matches using that old Wichita rest, back in the late '70's. This year, I'll stay with the RW hart base but will likely switch to a different top and sandbag. My current front bag has as much glue as leather! WH

I have the same rest. Also have a Wichita 1375. It’s in 7mm rem mag which is unusual, at least I think so.
Also where are you guys picking these up at? I’m looking for an older ppc for shooting short range in the near future.

I picked mine up here, on the sale board, YEARS ago. Since then, I bought some Pandas, Kodiaks and Bats so the Wichita sits. I just like the “old look and history” of it and it’s a tank of an action.
Add: I just looked at Shooters Corner. They had this:

I am one of those with no descendants or even friends who would be interested in my guns. I slowly reduced my stash to those that I use or shoot a lot (30 down to 5, two pistols, three rifles). Once I am gone the few remaining will probably go to a local gun shop at a really low price, or even just given to them (they have done ok for me).

I'm kind of in the same boat,and have friends that this issue has come up.
I own one tight neck, 280ai, built in the 90s before the cm craze. 1-9 twist and 30 in barrel, not a br,more of a lr varment,or just wanted a fast tn.
Fire forming cases gives you eight guns more water capacity. I have a great nephew that I hope becomes enough handloader, but otherwise....
So finding young shooters is a good thing.
