Don’t know where you live but my advice would be to start looking where all the masses of people’s don’t. My local gun store has many tens of thousands of primers for shotgun, rifle, handgun. They are fairly short on match grade primers but I bet if you start looking around your area you may be surprised by what you find.

My LGS got a pallet in a couple of weeks ago - rifle, pistol, large, small, BR, all were CCI. I got a couple thousand and went back 3 days later to buy a couple more and they were sold out. However, they expect another shipment in a few weeks. The owner said he thought they are becoming more available now. Got my fingers crossed.

The shelves are bare in at least 4 of our local shops. A few weeks back I was wanting to experiment with some alternative powders without having to pay hazmat shipping so I hit a few to see what reloading supplies could be found and the pickings were pretty slim in powders and primers were non existent for rifle and pistol. I ended up just ordering a variety of 1 pound bottles of powder from Powder Valley. Luckily my primer drawers are still in healthy shape

I really don't think this will be as bad as the great 2008 shortage, you can still find most powders online at least with a couple of notable exclusions
