when was the smk 168 boat tail changed ?

ok the original 168 was a 300 meter competition bullet with a SHORT RANGE boat tail.
some where in its life the boat tail was changed to a long range boat tail.
my guess is some time around the introduction of the 175 mk.
sierra is closed, so i cannot ask the source.
thanks

As I understand it, the boat tail 168 called the "International HP" was the precursor to the current 168 SMK, both share the 2200 part number. It was the original 2200 bullet, the "International HP", that was designed for 300M shooting.

i think the 2 look diff in oal...and who knows on the boat tail.... just looking for a date. and to the others..THIS is what i am talking about.

Other than normal manufacturing tolerances the only differences in the original offering and what is made today is the dropping of the name International. The original boattail length and angle has not changed on the #2200 part number bullet.
