Wheel Estate for sale

I know this isn't the classifieds. And I don't expect anyone to jump up with cash in their hand. But I wanted to mention on this forum that we are putting our motorhome up for sale. We have decided to buy a mobile home in a retirement park in AZ and a home on a couple acres in OH. So the wheel estate must go to finance the new projects.
2008 Revolution made by American Coach which is the top end division of Fleetwood. 43' tag axle with 4 slides. 400 HP Cummins diesel, 6 speed Allison trans, 29,000 miles and counting. 3 roof AC units, 2 with heat pumps, 2 LP furnaces. 3 TVs, in-motion satellite system. Washer/dryer. 2 chassis batteries, 4 AGM deep cycle batteries, 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter. 8 new tires purchased in April 2013. $150,000.

HI Bill,,,,Is that pic taken near the gorge of the Columbia in central Washington,????,,,it looks like it ,,,one of the most senic places in the country,,,,Roger

You're only a couple states off, Roger. I had to go back in my journal to make sure of the location - between Lander, WY and Grand Teton NP, WY.
This one is Grass Valley, CA.

Care to guess where this was taken?

Bill....lander is in some of the best coyote and pronghorn country that I ever found,,,,,the ex-sheriff there has a great place to hunt where the rocks turn red,,bet u know where that is,,,,Roger

Very good, Roger. Pistol River on the Oregon coast, near CA as you said. I'm not familiar with where the rocks turn red other than Sedona, AZ, but I know Lander sure is God's Country.

AHAH,,,Bill ....one of those rocks is where a small band of folks hid for several days to escape the local indians,,,wayyyy bak in pioneer days,,,,,,the terrain changes just south of Lander and turns into very rugged rocky butes etc,,,,and it is red like Flaming Gorge ,,,,,,then into a high desert,,,,as you say "very beautiful"....Roger

Would that have been from the Shoshonies? I think Lander was in their home territory. Sounds like we could do a lot of conversing about western history.
Here are three more for you to guess. Forgot to put my MH in the one pic. ;)

hahah,,,,ok,,,remember IM guessin,,,,first --near grand coulee dam ??---second north central Montanna--third Cascades near Cement,,,,,that whole area of the US is spectacular,,,,,Roger
Im changin my mind,,,,#2 may be near the Hanford/Pasco nuclear site,,,,,Im relly strugling with it,,,hahahah

Your guessing is pretty good - in fact, right on the first one. Grand Coulee is correct. But I think I will wait to provide the locations of the second and third in case someone else wants to guess.

We're parked in a Walmart parking lot in New Castle, IN tonight. Driving to Eureka, MO tomorrow. The MH will have over 30,000 miles on it by the time we park in AZ for the winter.

That 2010 trip we took (and where all these pics are coming from) was special. We left OH the end of July and didn't get to AZ until Nov 1. And we never spent more than 4 nights in any one location. We traveled from OH to IN, KY, MO, KS, CO, WY, ID, MT, ID, WA, OR, CA to AZ. Visited 11 National Parks along the way. Met and visited 4 gun forum friends, visited with 3 RV couples.

hows that for a luky guess,,,,I remember that area around the grand coulee,,,esp where the glacier cut that huge groove in the land and made that lake that is near the dam,,,,,unforgetable,,,,,I hope some others will guess,,,good luk,,,Roger

Sorry Bill, the wife said that I couldn't buy another MH. Mine's 21yrs old now and I want to upgrade (the MH that is :) )

pmaurader,,,,concrete/cement,,,just add water and some gravel,,,hahaha,,,,Im glad you reminded me,,,,it shur is pretty there,,,,I remember the river that was so clear,,,,there were boulders in it as big as car and they looked like lil stones....water 30 feet deep and looked like it was 6 inches,,,,,breathtaking,,,,shure wish I woulda been born rich instead of so good lookin!!!!,,,,Roger

HEY Bill....we are all on pins and needles,,,,,that middle one shur looks like south eastern Washington somewhere,,,I bet Sacagawea went thru there,,wink,,,,that place is very desolate,,,,,,the third one culd be,,,Maby Stevens pass in the cascades,,,,I am all hung up on the state of Washington,,,,I like it out there!!!!...Roger

Thanks Kelbro - BTW, we will be in Mesa on Monday. Too bad you can't talk the better half into it because it is a steal at $150k.

Yes the middle photo is the Lewiston grade, looking down on Clarkston-Lewiston and on the road to Pullman. Yes, Sacagawea was there. We traveled the Lolo Trail after visiting Glacier NP and spending a night in Missoula, MT. That is also more of God's awesome country.

The third photo is the pass entering Estes park, CO from the east. And just beyond is Rocky Mountain NP.

Unfortunately, my wife was not keen on having overnight guests and I wanted a computer desk with file storage. So the queen sofa bed with air mattress went. That leaves the King select comfort (air) in the bedroom for mom & dad and a jack knife sofa in the living area that realistically sleeps two pre-teenagers. The desk could be replaced with a queen sofa bed, but I think the desk would be hard to part with. With the slides out, there is easily enough floor space for 4 twin air mattresses.
Here's a photo showing the floor space. The sofa on the left in the pic was the one that got replaced.

And here is the desk.
