What's your favorite short range bullet?

Getting ready for the upcoming Texas State VFS, I tested my latest lot of 112 30’s and shot this group, then immediately went up, held accordingly, and nailed the wipeout.

My good friend Ed, who shoots the same set up, was also shooting very well.

Haven’t put it on the website yet but we are coming out with a new short range bullet. 65 grain Viper.

Thats what Im shooting now, ! They hammer, no question. I shot yesterday for first time in a month. Was amazed

True because all you named are no longer made! ;-) I'm a BIB guy for now but going to try some of Barts stuff, I like his 68 gn Avengers!
EDIT: Just remembered I have some Hottenstein bullets to try too!

Speedy shot the smallest Agg in the history of the Tack Driver, but smallest group went to Randy Holland and it was the smallest group ever shot at the Tack Driver. Shot with my 68gr avengers.

Out of the Six Tack Drivers. It’s be won three times with my bullets. Twice with Hammers a long range bullet and Once with the 68 gr Avengers. Also the Hammers came in 2nd last year. A pretty good record.

And a Hammer SR BR bullet is in testing, and flavored in 7mm. Soup is
just starting to boil on this one, fellas'......Reamers are the biggest hold
up at this time......Stay tuned.

Edit note to my above post. The Hammer Bullet I am referring to is not
coming out of the same shop as is Bart's. The Hammer I'm referring to is
the solid design I'm working with "Hammer Bullets". Sorry for any confusion
which is creeping into my brain tissues as of late......

I have shot 65 gr Hammonds, 65 gr Bergers hand pulled by Walt years ago sold to me 30 years ago by his Fla. neighbor, and currently 65 gr EPS. They have all been lasers at 100 and 200 yds. Something about that 65 gr weight I think. Glad Bart has one in the works. I also had some 63 gr Hammonds that were 100yd magic.

Yesterday I received my 700 65 grn hand made Bergers from Bruno's.

I'm looking fwd to giving those a try as we'll Barts new 65's.

Will be a chore to beat the 68 Avengers.
