What's your favorite powder for 9mm ???

Haven't loaded any 9mm for about 30 years. What's your favorite powder? I think I used to use 231. Thanks Jim

accruate powders. 7 is suggested by them, i have used 5 in most of my shooting. good case fill clean burn.

a safety note..if you select a powder that fills the case more than 50%...you cannot double charge.

Nothing wrong with 231.....been using it for years. No danger of double charge - load I use fills more than half the case.

Alliant Power Pistol. Fits the requirement that it nearly fills up the case so its not likely you would double charge a load. Comes highly recommended by Hornady in every bullet weight they tested for 9mm.

Our corporate lawyer use to tell us that you never know how good a patent is until it gets challenged in court. Just remember, the same thing applies to self defense ammunition you load yourself….

Now just to stir the pot. Police have to me use factory ammo for self defense. Just to protect you from criminal and civil suits.

lol..they practice with commercial or in house reloads depending on policy...
BUT
some have LAWYERS say they must use factory ammo......
not shooting authority, not the budget people.....just more lawyers....with no facts to back it up...
this led to some police having no practice ammo.........their lawyers said no reloads....so no practice....

( i am in the brass biz...at one time had seven ranges i bought brass from, lots of conversations with the training officers)

Vihtavouri N320. Very accurate and has a soft recoil pulse.

I've had great luck with Power Pistol in my 9mm. It also works in a 10mm and 380ACp that I load for. Accurate enough for my level of shooting in all three calibers.
