just because a DISPLAY has 3 places does nor nake the scale accurate to 0.005. THE MANUFACTURE CLEARLY SAYS IT IS A .02 GRAIN SCALE. try thinking, why would a $500 scale be more accurate than a $700 scale by the same company ??I own the scale, so I know the increments that the scale weighs in grains, and it's down to .005 grains...
Here's a photo for you to see. It's set on Grains in the photo, and shows .000, and the increment it changes in is .005 increments, not .02. I can load my 17 Hornet to 12.600 grains or 12.605 or 12.595, etc.

Yes, but in the lower range it has fine range, and at heavier weights it switches to a less fine scale. I think all our powder charge weights would be in the .005 range.Isn't the EJ-54D2 a Dual range scale?
if you look at my post, it shows 2 setsCan you link to the USA specs that show the dual range resolution?
And why on earth would both sets be the same resolution? What’s the point of have two ranges if they’re literally the same?if you look at my post, it shows 2 sets
no there are 2 listings because it is a DUAL function scale.( most of the page has dual listings)...but as i said...THE ACCURACY DOES NOT CHANGEAnd why on earth would both sets be the same resolution? What’s the point of have two ranges if they’re literally the same?
There’s clearly a typo on whatever site you’re on. Otherwise it would just say 0-802.48gr in .02gr increments.
thats an opinion, MINE IS FACT FROM THE MAKER, NOT an online review or non usa specs@6bra1k ,
Not trying to be argumentative but the High Range (which an be set to automatically change ranges, or set to manual) has 0.001 gram (1 milligram) resolution if set to high range regardless of weight.
LOW range has BETTER resolution.
The 0.003 GRAIN comments are equivalent to the minimum GRAM resolution of 0.0002 GRAMS (about 0.03 GRAINS) on the LOW range. Unlike the Creemoor scale, it seems the native measuring unit is GRAMS.
Most USA suppliers seem to be selling to the specs I quoted with prices from $360 to $600.
If the USA version is worse, maybe buy the Japan model.
Where do you find kernals of gunpowder that weigh .005 of a grain?@6bra1k ,
