What’s your 6mm Creedmore neck size?

After reading all the good experiences with Forster’s FL dies, I decided to order one. Problem is, they will only hone out the neck to .270” maximum. With my Hornady brass and neck turned Lapua brass I was looking for a .2715” neck, giving about .0015” neck tension. They say their standard necks are .262”, and will only hone upwards .008”.
What neck tension are you guys running with? .003” seems a little tight for me. Thanks!

Id get a fl bushing die and be done with it. Your next lot of brass or when you decide to try another neck tension renders that die a paperweight. New bullets, new powder lot, aging brass, etc will need to be adjusted. I wouldnt want to be painted into a corner esp with only .001 neck tension.

I use a Redding S-style FL die now, but I can’t use it as a prep before neck turning. Also I’ve been annealing before every loading, and it really helps with regulating spring back and neck tension.
