Got it with an old Sheldon lathe. No idea what to make of it.

Hand wheel for a draw bar. Did you get the draw bar and
all collets ?? Had one similar set up on a screw machine to
feed rod through to a stop.

If you figure out what the threads are on the back of the wheel
you can make your own. Use some tubing that's a close fit, thru
your head stock and threaded on the back to bring it in tight.
Thinking that long ago, I could have been making solid copper
rifle bullets on that machine. We were turning a brass valve seating
stem for Zurns. Most of Yinz have had it in their hands one time
or another, flushing a urinal.....LOL Ahh, the days before automation !!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I need to hunt for the other parts for this collet closer.
I do have a metal bar that I think is part of this. I'm reading some stuff about it on the Sheldon lathe group.
