What’s the real deal with Savage?

Thats a nice stock.

There's a big difference between a Savage axis and their high end stuff. I started with a PTA in the box and have been real happy with it.

I have the improved extraction kit from SSS installed except I haven’t got around to the spring yet. Maybe I did something wrong but it just doesn’t like spent BR cases.

Jim, Remember the extractor slide into the center for removal. it just takes a minute. The ball baring alone made mine function correctly..

Don't forget about the two piece floating bolt. Easy to swap out for a different cartridge head.

I guess I’m the the odd man out. I prefer AR style chassis vs old wooden clunkers. Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder.

I am old and wood is beautiful to me.

As for all this ar and military looking stuff it is fugly to me!
