What's it worth???

Nightforce BR 8-32 x 56. Purchased new in Spring of '07 and it now sits in a local pawn shop. It has one decent size scratch/rub mark on the tube near the bell. About the size of a dime. Aside from that it looks good.

What is a fair price on this thing?

I would call Nightforce and as if they can repair it and if so how much.

It should be worth $1200-$1300 after the repair.

You can buy a brand spanking new one from Bruno's for about $1200.00...
The scratch or rub mark don't mean much other than a little discount is called for.
$1000.00 don't seem out of line for the shape it's in, and the reticule has nothing to do with the price......

If it had the NP2-DD reticule I would hop on it in a heart beat, and it could join the family, and it would go on top of another rifle I don't need...
