Whats it worth? 6.5 Creedmoor brass

Over the years I've accumulated approximately 475 pieces of Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor brass. This stuff has roughly 4-5 firings on it. Just wondering if it has any resale value at this point? Any input is appreciated.

Dale, in all reality probably not much. I think the most I ever got on a Hornady case was 7 firings. I usually start getting loose primers in the 5 range and have had to toss some cases earlier because they were showing signs of case separation when I checked them with my scribe.....

If pockets are still tight, I’d imagine they would have value to someone wanting to assemble a bunch of ammo, inexpensively, for a PD safari or an AR10 shoot or something like that.

On clean, true once-fired bolt gun 6.5CM brass from a trustworthy private party, I jump on it if under the $30/hundred mark. At $20/hundred, I feel like I got a great deal but those don’t come along often.

My experience I found that Star line brass with small primers has lasted me more than I can count on the uses. Bought 2, 100 case bags for $52.00 per bag and have only reloaded about 1/2 of them so far. I have trimmed them once but the primer pockets are still very tight. I use a hand primer so I can feel each primer seating in the brass.

You must be really Lucky, I will never use Hornady rifle brass again after my 6.5 SAUM brass shit show.

Hornady original brass only lasted 3-4 firings, pockets gave out. I understand they started double stamping pockets and away we go. Not sure how many it will hold but 14x is good, especially at .43 each. I think if you ised the original brass that could explain the issues. Good luck!
