What's going on with Sierra?

What you're seeing is these companies that were built on supplying niche markets are now doing government contracts and the government contracts are always going to take precedence. I do find it quite interesting.

The only company that I can see that's not taking government contracts is Hornady. Interestingly enough they're the only privately held company. All of the others are corporate entities that are owned by these investment companies. The investment companies are also firmly invested into the companies that they're supplying.

Hornady has been awarded a military contract with the U.S. Department of Defense for 6.5mm Creedmoor sniper rounds. Hornady received a military contract for its 6.5 Creedmoor Precision TAP, an LE/military load featuring the same bullet as Hornady's 147-grain ELD Match load.

I'm sure there's some small smatterings going on. I'm pretty sure most of the contracts are not actually with the military that are soaking up all of the components.

Oh yes they are. There's only one of those announcements I'm not familiar with.
