I am a cigar guy and spend a good amount of spare time at a local cigar lounge with like-minded people. I was just curious about what other premium cigar smokers are enjoying at the moment? I have been bouncing back & forth between CAO Brazilia & CAO Flathead with an Arturo Fuente thrown in the mix here & there.

I don’t smoke much, but when I do it’s typically a couple of butts, Boston butts that is.

I am by no means an expert on cigars but I do enjoy my daily Madura. When younger the guys that I knew smoked good old Ct. cigars, Money maker and Evermore darks, now both are obsolete.
Generally I can be seen with a pipe in my mouth smoking a form of cherry blend. I am not a drinker so I indulge while working around the yard or when I am sitting at the bench shooting or in the reloading room sorting through things or cleaning after a morning range trip.

My daily smokers are Avanti Anisette cigars. Everyone likes the smell (except my wife) and I enjoy the flavor.

Now for my serious smoke would be:
1. Gurkha
2. CAO
3. 5 Vegas

a big thick porterhouse but only for about an hour at low temp. Then finish it off hot and quick in a cast iron skillet with bacon grease.

I was one of those hardcore non filter guy's. Quit it all back
in "91" Been wired ever since.....LOL Do keep a pack of
Cherry Middeltons in the tackle box to ward off the flies.

Other then that.....My son and his neighbor designed and built
this reverse flow smoker. Enough room for two splayed porkers.

The few I've had lately were Nat Sherman, Timeless supreme and the Metropolitan Habano. the metro was really good and is my new favorite, but alas, Nat Sherman has completely closed up shop. thanks covid. A couple years ago, while in Amsterdam, I picked up a bunch of Cubans. some sucked, but a couple were freaking amazing. Wish I had brought more home. Customs was not concerned about the 30 cigars I had, they pushed them out of the way to check the stupid tulip flower bulbs my wife declared. Next time I will bring more....

really good cubans were partagas, montecristo, and hoyo de monterey.

the montecristo and Romeo you can get here are good as well.

I stopped smoking tobacco in 1980 and have never felt better. Now all I smoke is Salmon, lake or stream trout and jerky, from various game animals i.e. Elk, deer. Much better for overall health.
