What would you use?

The Wisconsin State Benchrest Championship held at Columbus Sportsman's Association in Columbus WI has 3 classes Light Gun, Heavy Gun, and Factory Class. The Factory class is designed for rifles from major manufactures. No custom shop, coopers etc. What would you use to compete?

This is a series of 600 yd. Benchrest matches.

I'd use my Savage LRP in .243. It's what I own so that's what I'd use.

Sako TRG22 .260
Savage 12 LRP 6.5cm or .260 or .243
If I could find one (no longer made) a TC Icon Warlord .308 and thats only because I want to get one. LoL

Savage 6BR, 1:8 twist, berger 105 VLD. shoots lights out for a factory rifle, hard to beat in factory class if you get tuned well

And they offer many choices. I would think for an off the rack, factory rifle, this would be had to beat.

I would screw the 6PPC bbl off my Leonard stocked Farley action and screw the Bartlien 8 twist 6BR bbl on,,it shoots the orange box 105 VLDs and 29.2 grs H4895 very very well at 600 yards,,

if I had to shoot a factory rifle at 600 I would try and borrow Daddy`s Sako 75V in 260 Rem,,it has a good set trigger and shoots the 130 VLDs better than I would have ever thought possible,,
