What was or is your most accurate 22lr?

Just out of curiosity and maybe a trip down memory lane for some folks.

Mine would have to be a recently sold Rimx with a custom green mountain barrel on it. It would absolutely hammer SK ammo.
I have a 52d now that is showing tons of potential that I hope to get the trigger reworked/ lightened up, if the old timer trigger whisperer ever gets back with me to work his magic on it.

A Winchester Model 52 International I bought on a whim a few years ago from the dealer across the isle at a gun show where I was working at my dealer friend's tables.

I have a Cooper model 57 that really shoots. It like the Lapua Midas + ammo. This target was shot at the NRA range in Fairfax Va. at 50 yards.

Edit: added a picture.

A old heavy barreled Sears Roebuck Ranger 10/22 built in 1940. It was their benchrest model and passed down to me from my grandfather.

On good days it will hold groups at or just under 1” at 100 yards, sometimes 1/2” or better if the wind is behaving. Actually shoots the cheap American Eagle ammo extremely well! Crazy how good this 80+ year old rifle will still shoot.

since the o.p. wasn't specific, i've had no complaints about taurus 942 when it comes to accuracy. of course all it ever plinks are cans, plastic bottles. lol.

Years ago I was along with a good buddy that was prowling pawn shops on the north side of Houston. I was just along for the ride, but when the pawn shop guy was pulling all these rifles and shotguns out of a huge safe, one caught my eye. I had a look at what turned out to be a Remington 513T. The stock was custom, and under the dirt and grime it was really pretty figured Walnut. The guy wanted $100, which seemed fair. Somebody had set this rifle up for competition of some sort, with a high dollar peep sight, the 26” bull barrel, and the custom stock. Very light trigger. That was an amazingly accurate rifle. The plan was to use it as a squirrel rifle, but the weight made it a bad plan. I shot it for a couple of years until the accuracy got boring, and I sold it. These days I have a Tikka, which is very accurate, but I don’t think it equals the old bull barrel 513T. But, I can take the Tikka squirrel hunting.

Sometimes you can find old bolt action military training rifles in 22lr. They are really accurate. I picked up an old Russian military trainer made by TOZ, model TO3 78-04. I put a scope on it, but also has the iron flip rear sight for different yardages and iron front sight that’s fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Has a cool flip safety on the bottom metal and a great light and crisp trigger too. Really cool little rifle and very accurate.
