what type of sand ?

what sand are you using in your front bag and in the ears of the rear? I have a mini gator that im going to put heavy sand in but I didnt know if i should use it in the ears and front bag.

In my front bag and in the ears of my Minigater I use play/silicon sand mixed with Hart's parakeet gravel in a 50/50 mix.

In the base of my rear bag I pack Heavy sand in so it's nice and firm ensuring there is no low spot under the ears.

I use black aquarium sand - seems to work fine. The advantage is if your bag/rest gets wet the sand does not clump together
