What type of action for 6mmbr?

So my goal is to build a light sporter weight tack driver for predators and varmints. A walking, highcountry rockchuck and mountain lion killer if you will :)

Well, I think you need a Savage in .308 or any other round that has a .308 head diameter.
That way you can build an accurate lightweight sporter, and you can install the 6BR barrel yourself as well. ;D

I completely concur Kenny! When I read an accurate firearm was required, Savage was my first thought as well :) All kidding aside, unless you are going to get a custom action for the build, Savage just makes all the sense in the world as they will not require truing like a Remington 700 action will and you can fit your own barrels with minimal tools and no gunsmith required. You can buy a NightForce NXS scope for the savings!

He specifically said remington action, 22-250 rem, 243 win, 6mm rem, 257 roberts, 260 rem, 7mm/08 rem, 308 win will all work.
