What twist rate does 175gr 338 bullets need?

175gr pills on a 338 lapua sound fun... I forget what twist mine has though... Im on a hiatus from guns not by choice though..

Honestly I dont really care what bullet... i was looking at the cutting edge tho, i didnt know bullets that light where made

I just figure a light bullet would fly fast behind a lapua.. if itd stabilize...

3400-3500 fps maybe?... i donno.. i shoot 300gr boolits with 98.5gr of re33 right now, 100 gr+ with a 175 would be interesting, fast and drop some recoil..

I think my 338 lapua is a 9.35 or 9.5 twist.. set up for 300gr bergers. At the very least its a 10. Itd be spinning em.

It's the length of the bullet , not the weight that determines the twist needed.
