Bench rest shooters purchase presses for individual dies in the loading process. Once set up to an individual gun the setting never changes.

I have been loading with a standard arbor press. A friend of mine let me borrow a hydro press (21st century) and I didnt like feel of the hydro. I have gotten used to "feeling" the difference in seating pressure. Using the hydro eliminates that, and makes it hard to tell when bullet travel has stopped. I know plenty of the top guys swear by them, but they just arent for me. I dont feel any disadvantage doing it by feel. Thats just my personal opinion, your mileage may vary.

I like the 21st century lathe, it made sense when I first looked at it, they put a lot of thought into it. I dare say playing with the hydro press could be fun though. Except I need an annealer worse than that though.
