What to do with used 14 twist 22PPC barrel

I have two 14 twist Krieger used 22PPC barrels that had n more than 350 rounds down them and look almost new. They are 25-26 inches in length 1.250 and 1.350 diameter respectively.

What could I rechamber these to and stil get some use. open to any idea really

Bolt Face size in the 308 family preferred.

I was mainly asking due to the 14 twist. Im about to have a barrel chambered in 6BR for my Haverkamp in 6BR

I didn't think the 22BR in 14 twist wouldn't shoot anything if this is a possibility for the lighter bullets Ill do it in 22 BR and have a switch barrel setup. Or buy another Haverkamp

22 BR 40gr to 55gr Bullets. yes on switchbarrel. All you have to do is clear anything touching in the stock, and you can change barrels without taking the stock or scope off.

220 Beggs. Of course, it wouldn't work with a 308 BF, but most custom actions will work with both.

At 25-26" and with only a ppc length chamber, you can make those barrels into most anything. There's nothing wrong with a 14" twist. Most of my .22's .........221, 223/223AI, 22BR, 22-250/22-250AI.....have 14" twist. These guns aren't fussy and shoot 40's-55's extremely well. From 223-up they're just as accurate with 55's as with the lighter bullets. The bigger cases will shoot a heavier bullet well, but I don't use them.

Since you have the WSM why not do the 223 WSSM pushing the 80's & 90's ??
