What size bushing?

I am going to try some Redding bushing neck sizing dies in the following calibres
223
243
270
308
I would like some feedback on what size bushings to buy please.

Redding has a bushing range chart, you can probably pick bushing about 2-3 thou larger than the smallest size in each range and be really close.
here is what i use as i recall:
22-250 .247 bushing
300RUM .338 bushing

I think rather than going with the neck dies id go with forster fl dies and they will hone out the necks for what tension you want for $10.

The bushing sizes you're going to need are determined by the brass you're using. Different brands have different neck thicknesses in the same chambering. Lapua 308W is different than Winchester 308W cases, for example.

Measure the neck diameter of a loaded round. Then, select bushings based on that figure to get the bushing sizes needed for the amount of sizing you want. Repeat for each chambering you have and the brass you're using.

For example: If the neck dia. on Lapua 308W brass,bullet seated, obviously) measures .342 and you want to size them .002 ....use a .340 bushing.
