What size bushing for Alpha 6BR.

Just ordered some Alpha 6BR brass. Anyone know what size neck bushing I will need?

What if it depends on your bullet. Across 5 custom bullets I have seen 7 tenthousandths difference in diameters on 6mm. Don't rush things.seat a bullet and put a mic on the pressure ring. Subtract from there. Pull the bullet..cheap medicine.

A good place to start would be
002 - .003 below loaded neck diameter.

.266 is a good place to start. There's several ways to get to the correct neck tension your rifle will like . You can use a smaller bushing .264 or so and then use a mandrel to set final neck tension. 21st century has mandrels in half thousandths. Or just test with a bushing from .265 to .267. This will also be dependent on your reamer neck size as well but if a no turn this should work. .266 is what I'm running right now in a no turn with alpha. Gives me about 2 thou. Neck tension. Test and your rifle will tell you .
