What shooting sling do you use

I have several "carrying straps" for my rifles, but I need to get a good shooting sling. What kind of sling works best for shooting from multiple shooting positions and improvised shooting positions? What material do you like?

I use the Cheng (some call it Ching) sling a la the Gunsite rifle course. If you are not familiar with it, it is a more or less normal sling from forend tip to buttstock plus a third swivel stud just forward or the magazine. ONe has a short piece of sling material attached to the middle swivel and a free sliding ring from the other end to the regular sling. To use it one puts their arm through the forward part of the sling, loops around and back under the short piece (I use the middle swivel as a hand stop) with the regular sling up above ones bicep area. It is very quick and almost as solid as the match rifle sling I use for XC and Long Range matches. It does not try and twist the butt out to the inside of your body as it would with just a conventional sling alone. With this rig I shoot sitting out to 500 yds. with good success if I do my part trigger control wise.
