I ordered a Swarovski Z6 5x30x50mm BRH reticle on amazon. But I watched a couple youtube videos and learned that the elevation range for a 30mm tube was small 43moa & 25moa windage . I decided to cancel the order because 2 k was a bit to much even if it has perfect optics, the narrow elevation and windage was a deal breaker. Reading these post and reviews of other optics . I decided on Sightron S3 8x32x56mm with MOA-2 retical and a Leupold VX-6 3x18x50mm for my AR . Already have a Zeiss HD5 5x25x50mm and Super Sniper 5x20x50mm . So 3rd trip to MT will be great.

Same here, but with the VH reticle. I find I don't use the added power that much on the 8-25 due to heat waves. I don't shoot really long range, but to me the markings of the VH reticle are invaluable for holding for windage.
we learned a long time ago to twist knobs, Bushnell 4000 and 4200's are very repeatable.
The older Burris Signature with the light collectors are also very repeatable, 6x24 and 8x32.
We screw on the knobs from dawn to dusk, and the Bushnells and the Burris has never failed us in this respect.
Some of the scopes mentioned in this thread are great ones, Swift 6x24, Tasco super sniper, and Weaver grand slam made in Japan.
You don't need to spend three fortunes to bust a p. dog, it just needs to track and hold zero.

Been going out to South Dakota since 95 for pd. I have used strait power unertl's 10,12,20x. Mid price Sightrons and Weavers in the 4-16x range. B&L and Leupolds in 6-24x range. Night Force, March and Sightron S3 in the 10-60x range.
We have kills from 10 yds to 2216 and we have shot out to two miles or 3520+yards but never got a kill beyond the 2216 yds. When it takes 9 seconds for a bullet to get to 2 miles a pd just doesn't stand still that long. Them sumbitches.
