What scope for my use would be best?? Never mind bought another 5-40 March

I wil mostly be doing clay shoots since evryone likes to shoot clays in Texas lol.
Most of the time i'll be shooting 300-400 yards but on occasion i will shoot at the range out to 1000.


I was thinking of the 40x or 50x March scopes. Will they be a good choice or with a fixed power when its humid and 100 degees plus am i going to have too much mirage to see good since i can't adjust the power down?

If so i'm thinking the new 15-55x52 NF or a variable power March etc.

Let me know what you guys think since i'm sure theres plenty of shooters from TX on the forum.

I just bought another 5-40 March since I like my other 5-40 March so much .

Once you have one - it is hard to go back down.
