What Replacement Barrel Contour for my FTR Savage Rifle

Ordering a Bartlein barrel for 28" finished barrel on my Savage action. This is a 308 FTR gun. Bugholes has two contours in the small Savage shank, one that is 1" at muzzle and one that is .80" at muzzle.

Which one?

Should mention, I am at 14 lbs all up weight with the factory 20" carbine medium-heavy barrel. It is .80" at muzzle.

Short of making the gun too front heavy and having it ride up in the rear bag or not track properly, all the barrel you can get and be under weight, in my opinion.

Yep. Move the bipod further forward if you need to. Do the math and come in just under the weight limit.
