What Rain Jacket??

About 40 plus years ago I bought the first Woolrich Gortex hooded camo rain jacket they marketed. It has a light nylon liner and pockets, zips, soft quiet outer material, I love it. But it now seeps at the shoulder seams in a lot of rain and the color is badly faded. Looking for something similar that comes below the waist about 6 in. Any suggestions. Considered Kuiu but don't want as they advertise, athletic fit. Looking for hunting comfort not style. Any suggestions.

Thanks all, Frog Togs have no pockets and not the thing for brush I do have them. I will check out Sitka.

Jeff.....Think a little outside the box and look up the Moose racing
rain jackets. I've had my XC1 for some time since racing the ATV's
in the slop. Lots of pockets, and large ones. They also have a vinyl
over jacket that folds up and fits in a pocket. That way you can wear
your normal jacket you like, and pull that out in an emergency.

If you have any friends/family in the US services they can get you a very nice Gortex issue from the PX/BX website. My Bro n Law USAF hooks me up with mine. It has a cammo pattern of Military usage but man its nice and very cost friendly. Very lightweight, breathable, has all the pockets in the right places, when it is humid I am not uncomfortable, My Frog Toggs are back up.

I've had two Cabela's hooded Goretex rain jackets over the past 36yrs. The first lasted over 25 years before I had slight seam leakage. I liked it so much I bought another; a few minor changed from the first. They do also have accompanying pants for the top. Very lightweight and breathable.

Not a Woolworth jacket.
Actually I don't know who made it.
Bought a camo jacket about 10 yrs ago at Leighty's boot store.
Pants and jacket for $40.
All the pockets have zipper.
Jacket has 2 largish waist pockets, and 2 chest pockets with a game pouch in the back.

They have been used hard every year.

Shoulders started seeping last year.
I sprayed 3 layers of Camp Dry (aka spray silicone) on them.
All that's needed now is a good spraying of Perethrin.

I've worn LL Bean Gortex hooded zipper jackets since the 90's and have never been disappointed. My last one finally gave up the ghost so it is time to go shopping.

My son spent 24 years in the Air Force. He hooked me up with one of those a few years back, after about 3 years it started to fail at the shoulder seams. I was dissapointed because I liked i.t
