What powder is insideRem 7saum cartridge 160gr nosler partitions

I'm pulling bullets from the 7saum cases to turn them into 6.5saum.
The case holds 60grs of very fine powder for the 160gr partitions, what type of powder is It?
Can I use it for my 280AI or my
6.5saum?
I have 500 remington 7saum cases that I have to pull all the bullets and powder don't want to throw it out if I can use it properly.

The powders used by bullet manufacturers is rarely a canister powder. Its characteristics may be quite different from even the closest canister powder. The best use for pulled powder is in the flower garden or on the lawn as a fertilizer. I won't use it in the vegetable garden because I am unsure what the vegetables will absorb from it. It does make for very nice flowers though.

My opinion is as stated above by sheepdog.
I don't know how much powder a 7SAUM holds but it is that number times 500 which in no way equals an eye.

The powder will work fine in your 280AI. Finding a proper charge weight that's accurate might take some work but it's doable. With the numbers you gave you are talking about $120.00 or so worth of powder. Is it worth the trouble?????

In most cases ammunition manufacturers Have powders blended for their application in large lots. Rarely do they use "canister" powders that the reloader can buy. There are some deviations to this rule of thumb and in rare cases the blended powder becomes a canister powder. The "superfomance" line of powders began as a manufacturers blend and has now become a canister powder. (or a derivative of that powder)

That's how it works just like carsntrucks, frames, motors, etc. Many based on one.

I guess all the time and wouldn't interfere with your guessing for the world and everything in it. But when you guess on somebodies reloading it probably isn't a good thing. If you guessed that this broad spectrum of powders would work on another chambering and it didn't the reloader could get hurt or his gun damaged. If you would guess on the Florida power ball numbers for me I will run down to the 7/11 and get us a few tickets, cause your guess is as good as any bodies and better than mine.

Thank you for all the helpful insights on my question, I will put it on the side for now and not screw around with it. And if I ever figure it out maybe i'll use it, if not fertilizer it is lol. But its the finest smallest particle size I've seen as far as powder goes for the 160's, the shells with the 140's looks like h4831.
