What nobody talks about following a major match

Oh hell yeah!!

If you have never attended a big match then you are missing the camaraderie, fun and intensity that goes along with it. It’s absolutely an amazing group of people to hang out with for a week and they are memories I wouldn’t trade for the world. Nationals is no different...

I compete in ARA/ABRA and one of the main reasons I do are the people there at my local matches, tons of fun, and a good way to spend the day.

I post just for the Info.
March Madness starts in a few weeks at Sacramento weeks of Long Range Shooting ?
Great for us retired Guys, Lunch most Days ?

No Dust to bring Home , but nice little pieces of Green Rock .

You think that's bad you should have seen Charlie and Bill van. I think they were just going to drive around until October and come back, certainly had enough to sustain them

A trip to the NRA nationals at Camp Atterbury or the CMP matches at Camp Perry might mean 6 to 12 different rifles with their ammo to load and unload. Quite a workout.

Geez, Walt, I remember those days. My first trip to Perry I had spares for every rifle and more than twice the ammo needed. Every tool and gizmo I owned. My cart was about to blow out the tires.

Clothing for Arctic to Tropical conditions.

I’m down to two rifles now. My spare rifle has never been needed. Minimal spare ammo too. So much easier.
