What neck bushing to buy?

With a "no turn neck" reamer requested at .273" to .274" and Lapua brass, in a 6x47 Lapua. What should I probably need for a bushing?

I'm new to the 6mm's and have zero loading gear on hand for the sixes.

DO have a REDDING FL , bushing size die but no bushing. So need to order up something useable.

I measure the diameter of the neck on a piece of brass with a bullet seated in it... then subtract 3... ive had good luck with that... some people seat tighter.. some looser.. i like 3 less...

Get a .264, .265, .266,.267, .268,.269, .270, and a .271. Yep, that'll cost ya a few bucks, but if you're looking for accuracy you'll want a variety of different sizes. Also if (when) you start neck turning to clean up necks and make them uniform.... you'll need them then. Sure glad that I did it. :) WD

Just buy three. My no-turn loaded rounds measure at .2695-.270. Buy a .266, .267 and a .268. If you just wanted one then start with a .267.

I finally borrowed a standard FL die so I could neck down some brass and make a dummy round.

Neck diameter was .270" so I will go with a .267" and a .268" bushing on the order.

Appreciate the replies.

My loaded rounds are .272, chamber is reamed to a 274, I use a 270 bushing.

If you get the more expensive coated bushings, they size differently than the plain hardened steel bushings which can further complicate things when trying to peg exactly which bushing you need. I'd get the one you feel will give you the minimum amount of tension you will want, then get two tighter ones. I have never gotten by with one bushing for a given caliber.
