What medium bore to build on a Mauser DST action...

I have a very nice engraved CCH action and a gorgeous walnut 95% shaped stock.
What think ye?
I am leaning towards a 275 Rigby/7x57 Mauser.

I would do a classic like the 7x57 or similar.
I picked the 30-06 when I ordered my wood stocked classic hunting rifle.

Agree with the 7x57. I have always wanted one, just never got to it. I'd want a mannlicher stock on it. Iron peep sights with detachable low profile scope.

I got two blanks about ten years ago. When you cut a log up and down and sideways (like the crosshairs on a scope) you end up with two sets of "twins", they have identical opposite grain structure. Like bookends.
I was a big Mauser 98 fan at the time, so I had them cut 95% shaped & inletted.

I am going with a 7x57 Mauser/275 Rigby on the right one. Don't know about the left one yet.
