What magnified pistol scope would you recommend?

I am looking for a magnified pistol scope to go on my .22 pistol.

I will be shooting from 10 yards out to 25 yards. Most of the work will be speed work so I need a scope with good eye relief and fast target aquisition. i

Any suggestions?

I use a red dot with no magnification. I tried a Leupold 2X and found that I could not reacquire the cross hairs as quickly as I wanted after the shot. The Leupold is a good choice if you really want the magnification.

Many, many competition guys like the UltraDot series. They offer fixed sizes, as in 2moa, 4moa as well as the Matchdot with 2, 4, 6, 8 and the UltraDot 4 Dot with 4, 8, 12 and 16 moa choices. If you want to keep the weight minimal, some are liking the Burris Fast Fire. (TV screen style)

A dot is definitely the way to go - not magnified hairs. You are shooting into an AREA, not sniping. If deer hunting etc, yes, potentially rested and beyond 25yds would make magnification a plus.

The above recommendations are seriously used on the competitive Bulls Eye line from .22rf to .45 cals on a slide mount so no issues with longeivity. I've never seen either of the above puke in a match or practice.

Any of the above can be had for under $200 if you watch the ads and under $50 more if you grab one from a retail outlet - usually online.

At that distance a Cmore is the ticket. Matt
