What lubricant for necking UP brass?

What are you all using to neck up brass? I'm necking up 22-250 in two steps to 6.5CM. I have tried Redding gel, Hornady one shot and even my neck turning oil mixture. Trying to minimize marking up the inside of the necks.

Was thinking about trying SuperLube grease that I use on my M14s

Thanks

use it whenever you do anything......Necking up, necking down...Neck turning, sizing, light coat down the barrel for storage, etc..... tumbles off or washes off with parts cleaner....
I buy only one oil. It does everything......

I've tried several conventional lubes and found RCBS Lube 2 works best by far. It has the perfect viscosity and doesn't leave any markings on the casings. Be liberal with it and wipe it off when done. Another is the Lanoline mix many use, but mixing ingredients is too messy for my liking.

RCBS Lube 2 is what I use up sizing .243 Win. to 7-08, one step with a Sinclair mandrel. I soak a Q-tip with it and wipe the neck inside.

+1 on the Rcbs 2. Never had a problem using it.

Unique case lube from Hornady, liberally applied wipes off easy I use to make 30-40 cases in to a wildcat 40-40 two passes on expanders and then crammed into a 405 die driven out with a dowel and then sized again, no scratches in or out

Greetings,
I have turned thousands of Win .243 cases into .260 Rem using Imperial sizing wax and a tapered expander. Same gear for .22/250 to 6mm/250. Never lost one to a torn neck / shoulder.
Good luck,
John

The best for all kinds of sizing, Redding's Imperial Sizing Die Wax: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/519525/imperial-case-sizing-wax-2-oz Used it for years. :)

In a pinch you can make a little triple mix of 1/3 raw linseed oil, 1/3 bees wax, and 1/3 turpentine and it also keeps the plows and harrows from a rustin' and you can rub it on your shootin' irons.

These two products will make your brass as slippery as snot on a door knob.

And you city folk might want to read this if youins don't get it. ;)

I bought a lot of once fired LC mill spec .308 brass. The extra wall thickness makes this brass a royal pia to resize. The only lube i found that is up to the task is imperial sizing wax (and hanging all my weight off my press handle!)
