what kind of barrel

I have A barrel that is chambered in 6.5 x 47 lapua. I was told it is A Kriger. My question is how do I tell for sure? There is no markings on the barrel. I am gonna sell this barrel and it only has 15 rounds through it. Just some break in rounds. it is to heavy for A silhouette hunter rifle. I just want to be sure what it is so not to miss represent it when I put it up for sale. Thanks for any help Mike

If it has no marks, then you answered your own question.I really dont know why any of the barrel makers I am familar with never mark their barrels. If anything ,it is cheap advertising. What is your barrel threaded to fit?

All the barrel ident markings, maker, cal., twist rate, bore dia. is stamped on the breech end, unfortunately, it's cut-off at the time of chambering. Unless it was saved, along with a copy of the bill of sale, you have no way of proving it's a Krieger, or Bartlein, or anything else.

If these records are not available you could go a long way to satisfy a buyer that it's a hand-lapped custom barrel by letting them inspect the condition of the bore with a borescope.

My standard procedure anytime I buy (or sell) a barrel.

On the threaded end (breach) there should be an engraved/etching. If it is not there then you really have no evidence what manufacturers barrel you have. Sorry.
