My finished rounds were 1.737 measured with the Hornady setup.

I dont have any records for temp etc. It was an Iowa spring evening. Pretty cool low humidity.
I messed up though that target was 27g of H322 sorry!

My 4 target average that day with 27g was .212
With 26.5g it was .249

Finally got out last weekend to test my final load configuration. Attached are the results. Seems like 29.2 grains of N133 is the magic load for this barrel as it will shoot Bart bullets into pretty good groups too. Since I turned my own brass so I have .002 clearance, the rifle has started to group better.

I would be interested to see if you can duplicate the load under different conditions.. from what i have been seeing 29.2 grs is a bit light on the powder. and I just have not been able to get that N133 to work for me.

I'm .006 off hard jam for seating depth. I use a .257 bushing with a loaded round measuring .260, so .003 tension.

Most the other information is on the target. 65 degrees, humidity was probably around 60% but don't know that as fact, 5 mph wind from 3 o'clock, but it wasn't consistent. I think I lost a round to the left on target three when I was shooting in calm conditions and I missed the wind pick up.

29.2 grains of N133 is about all I can get into the case right now and still leave room for the bullet. I don't have a drop tube to help get more powder in. I've shot the same load under different conditions and it always shoots pretty well. I've never shot in really hot temps, like over 80 degrees. My summers are usually taken up with boating, riding ATVs and softball, so the majority of my shooting is in the fall, winter and spring.

ok Thanks.. yea 65 deg F high humidity. seems like 29.2 would be a light load.(by that i mean not a light load for that temp/humidity)
I have yet to nail down anything solid as to the consistant grouping of my 6ppc..but i have been working closer to it..I was about .005 off the rifleing and all the way up to 50 1/2 click of powder( @ 28.5+) of H322 at 85 deg F 57% humidity and it started doting up..down the same hole with just a bit of horizanital..so im going farther off in the .010 range and up more on the powder..but that has seemed to be more consistant..than jamed or touching at all. but i was getting tired, barrel was hot and needed cleaned so i quit for the day. so even the H322 has had some big swings from 46 clicks up to 51 clicks( somewhere in the 26.0gr area to over 28.5).. but my barrel has about 300 rounds on it and it has changed slightly from what was shooting when it was new..And we do see hugh temp humidity swings in the corse of the day and from day to day around here.

That has pretty much been the formula since...........forever.

there maybe a new formula in town..this is a sample lot of a powder that maybe called LT32 in the future. this is 29.5 gr's of that powder behind a berger coulmn bullet lit by a fed 205 match primer. seated to lightly touch the lands. in a match under some tough conditions. seem's i'm not the only one who has no love for the N133 powder. so much so that alot of time and money has been invested to produce something better..it looks like they may have done it this time..so we will wait and see when it becomes avaviable if it will take over...all i can say is if it shoot's and tune's as easy as the powder i have N133 will be good for, well nothing i can think of.lol

all i can really say is lot #1 is the real mccoy, all other lot's are alittle slower..but they are all the same shape and size..what maybe avavilable now as AA2015 lot 4&5 is the same shape and size powder but is slightly slower burn rate..I have 8lbs of lot 4 it does shoot good..but is more finicky than lot 1..lot one is gone and unavavible.so if you decide to try some AA2015 lot 4,5 i reccomend trying a 1lb can to see how you like it before you buy alot of it.

Been using 2015BR for a long time, in fact I still have a bit of the Czhec Republic mfg. which has proven to be great. My 223 likes it too.
