You are correct about particle board vs OSB. Don't forget about aluminum wires with copper-only switchgear. As for younger vs older gentlemen and electromagnetic emanations, if you don't use it - you lose it.I don't remember OSB being used as sub-flooring in the 1970s. I remember it being mostly particleboard. And it's the younger gentlemen that need electromagnetic emanation protection......old guys don't really care about such protection.
Still, I suppose one can't be too careful, and the Interociter is the best way to go. It has built-in gonad protection already........
